GRANTS, NM - Every month Cibola General Hospital employees nominate a peer for the “Outstanding Performer of the Month” award. This designation is given to those employees who go above and beyond the call of duty with fellow staff, patients, and visitors.

For 2011, Spencer Rogers, MLT in the Laboratory Department received the honor of Outstanding Performer of the Year. Spencer was nominated by his peers for several reasons. As noted in his nomination, “Spencer is always willing to help no matter what the situation may be. He is a “team player” and always comes in with a smile and returns information back in a timely fashion, even during emergencies.”

Spencer was also chosen due to his pleasant disposition with patients, exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to perform his duties quickly and accurately.

“Outstanding Performers” receive recognition at the monthly celebration, a complimentary meal ticket, special parking pass, and gift certificates. At the end of the year, all staff vote for the Outstanding Performer of the Year. Spencer Rogers was recognized with this honor at the annual Employee Christmas Party.
