Emergency Department 
 The quality of emergency care provided by Cibola General Hospital is keeping pace with the growing needs of the people and the communities the hospital serves. Currently, our Emergency Department treats as many as 800 patients in an average month, or between 9,000 and 10,000 patients in an average year.
The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, and is staffed at all times by a physician who is qualified in emergency care and at least one registered nurse. Patients are treated for a wide range of illnesses and injuries, with priority given to those patients whose condition is the most serious.
