Patient Financial Services 
The Business Office at Cibola General Hospital is a vital part of the hospital’s family. Open from Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., it is responsible for insurance billing and collections, and manages all financial aspects of a patient’s hospital services. Most major credit cards are accepted.
The Business Office staff submits patient bills to the appropriate insurance companies and takes every step possible to expedite the claim. However, any portion of the bill insurance does not pay then becomes the responsibility of the patient.
Some hospital services – radiology, cardiopulmonary, laboratory, emergency care – may include bills from physicians who are not employed by the hospital and who charge separately for their services.
Financial counselors are available through the Business Office to assist patients who do not have medical insurance with their various payment options. Call (505) 287-5200 to contact a financial counselor.
