Nationally Renowned Healthcare Leader Coming to Grants

November 11, 2009 — Quint Studer, a nationally recognized speaker on healthcare leadership and a renowned change agent, will be coming to Grants, New Mexico to speak to Cibola General Hospital staff, physicians, and board members. Studer’s 2003 book, “Hardwiring Excellence,” became one of the must-reads by those in healthcare leadership and became the basis for his consulting firm, the Studer Group, Inc.

Quint Studer, named one of the "Top 100 Most Powerful People" by Modern Healthcare, has gained national recognition (USA Today, Inc. Magazine, Investor's Business Daily) as a change agent and thought leader in health care today because he so aptly links a sustained focus on service, quality, employee and patient satisfaction with growth and bottom-line results.

Perhaps best known as one of the world's most charismatic public speakers, Quint is also a frequent keynoter at high profile national trade and professional association meetings, and meets with more than 1,200 healthcare leaders monthly at client engagements and Studer Group-sponsored Institutes, including "Taking You and Your Organization to the Next Level." Quint Studer is also profiled in the fifth edition of the book Communicating about Health: Current Issues and Perspectives, required reading at 85 universities nationwide. In 2005 he received two high honors: awards from PRC (Professional Research Consultants) prestigious Presidents Award for his impact in changing health care and SHCAs (Society for Healthcare Consumer Advocacy) for his impact on the quality of care for consumers.

Studer Group helps hospitals and other organizations such as medical groups, health systems, schools, and universities across the country improve quality, customer service, and employee engagement. An employee-centered culture of service excellence is the basis for success, according to Studer, and according to the hundreds of healthcare workers he has re-energized. CEOs outside of healthcare are also seeing the benefits of his approach.

Quint Studer will visit Grants on November 20, 2009. Studer will host two presentations during his visit, 8:30 to 9:30 AM and 10 to 11 AM at the NMSU-Grants Branch Auditorium.

These sessions will be open to the public, but seating is limited. Please call Marcie Chavez at Cibola General Hospital, 505-287-6702 to reserve your seat at one of these sessions.
