Pharmacy
 Cibola General Hospital’s Pharmacy department strives to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to all patients. Our in-house pharmacy is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to serve inpatients only – it is not a retail pharmacy open to the public.
Professional staff pharmacists and pharmacy technicians prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies. The pharmacy staff also participates in a quality-control management program to ensure patient safety and adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
The Pharmacy department maintains inventory records on narcotics and other controlled substances, as well as records on prescriptions filled. The department works to ensure timely filling of physician’s orders and accurate medication delivery.
Clinical services provided by the department include drug monitoring; mixing and dispensing additives for IV, IM, and irrigating solutions; drug order review, drug information support for care providers; and a focus on an integrated-based model for care delivery.
