Cibola County has a full-service cardiopulmonary department providing outpatient and inpatient services at a sophisticated level to the region. We provide dedicated care of the highest quality, work closely with local physicians, and are committed to excellence in healthcare delivery. Respiratory inpatient services are provided 24 hours per day, seven days per week by licensed Respiratory Care Practitioners. Our staff has many years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings and provides acute cardiopulmonary care, including life support for all ages. We are your friends and neighbors and seek to improve our community health by providing state-of-the-art, non-invasive diagnostic testing including:

  • Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
  • Cardiac and Pulmonary Stress Tests (METs/VO2, etc.)
  • Electrocardiograms (EKG)
  • Holter Monitoring (24 hours and longer)
  • Extended (30-day) Cardiac Event Monitoring
  • Hemodynamic Assessments (ICG)
  • Sleep Studies (for diagnostic and assessment of sleep disorders such as Sleep Apnea)
  • Electroencephalograms (EEG)
  • Patient educational services

Miner's Testing

For Cibola County current residents only, our Respiratory Therapists provide testing for Uranium Miner compensation claims and work with the U.S. Department of Labor guidelines to ensure complete, accurate, and fair testing. This service is restricted to only New Mexico former miners. They must provide proof of residency with 6 month's rent/property tax or utility bills and a New Mexico ID.
