All of the hospital's therapists are licensed, have received specialty training, and are dedicated to improving the health of the people they serve.
Physical therapists use the latest rehabilitative techniques in an individualized program of care to help patients of all ages recover from surgery, strokes, or injuries and to regain mobility and/or decrease their level of pain.
Occupational therapists assist patients with physical problems - particularly in the arms, hands and shoulders - that interfere with the activities and tasks of daily living. Helping patients become more independent is a major goal.
Speech therapists diagnose and treat patients with communication problems and difficulties with swallowing, and work with patients who have memory problems as the result of a stroke or possibly an injury to the head.
